About us

The Suffolk Kitchen Company was founded in 2006 by kitchen designer Jacques Dasan and co-director Jonathan Mann. Our aim is to offer an outstanding service so that we provide every customer with the kitchen they dream of.

Our showroom is in Glasswells World of Furniture in Bury St Edmunds and our team is on hand to discuss your needs and offer inspired, practical advice.

About our founders

Jacques E. Dasan

Jacques has always been quick to embrace new technology and with the introduction of portable computers he was one of the first kitchen designers to take his laptop into the customer’s house. This is still the way he works today, because it enables him to survey, design and cost the new kitchen all in one appointment, whilst also being able to discuss and develop kitchen design ideas with the customer. This means that the customer will not have to be inconvenienced by travelling back and forth to our showroom and there will be no waiting around for the much anticipated quotation.

Jacques has a “hands-on” approach to ensure that his kitchens are fitted to his exacting standards. If any unforeseen issues arise, Jacques will have seen it all before and will deftly deal with any modifications that are required. He speaks to the kitchen installers daily, and he makes site visits on a regular basis so you can be sure that your kitchen installation will run smoothly and be trouble free.

Jacques’ enthusiasm for kitchens is infectious, he can often be heard on site issuing instructions and passing on his abundant knowledge to anyone who is prepared to listen!

Jonathan Mann

Jonathan Mann comes from a construction and property background and has been able to assist Jacques by providing him with the administrative and business support to establish and successfully run The Suffolk Kitchen Company. Jonathan qualified as a Chartered Surveyor and has complimentary skill sets that ensure that The Suffolk Kitchen Company can consistently provide a fantastic professional service, characterised by exacting standards and delivering customer service that is second to none.
